Who is Martin Luther King?

Martin Luther King is a motivational speaker from Antlanta, Georgia. When he was young, he dreamed of becoming a fireman. Who knew he'd be so famous? He was born on 15 January 1929. He was the son of a baptist church minister. His religion strongly affected his career as he got older.

What did he do?

He gave one of the most famous speeches in history. His "i have a dream" speech was his longest speech about wishing for freedom and liberty. He led non-violent protests and believed that no one should come to any harm in their life. Many followed his beliefs and joined in on his protests. He has been arrested and has met many other civil rights activists and was part of the Civil Rights Act in the 1960's. He fought for black people freedom because of the discrimination they faced.
